Again, Ishaku seeks refund of N22b spent on federal roads
Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku, has again, asked the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency refund the N22 billion the state spent on construction of federal roads in all parts of the state.
Ishaku, who made the call yesterday during the inauguration ceremony at the Jolly Nyame Stadium along Mike Six in Jalingo metropolis, also used the occasion to urge the opposition to join hands with his administration to move the state forward.
He pleaded with the Federal Government for the refund of the money, saying the state’s decision to intervene on the federal road projects was to create easy movement of persons and goods in and out of the state and its overall economic development.
