Former Minister of Transportation and Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi has pledged support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Amaechi contested for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but lost to Tinubu.

Tinubu polled a total of 1271, while Amaechi was the closest to Tinubu with 316 votes during the APC presidential convention at Eagle Square on Wednesday.

The former minister in a statement on Thursday assured Tinubu of his commitment to his success in the 2023 general election.

“As you embark on this historic journey I wish to assure you of my commitment to your success at the polls in 2023 and ultimately look forward to providing the necessary support to ensure that we develop a prosperous country for all NIgerians,” Amaechi said.
