
The board comprises Engr. Ibrahim Alhassan as Chairman, while members are, Head Transportation Secretariat, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kayode Opeifa, AIG Umar Ambursa (rtd.), Professor Obiarari Nnamdi and Maitama Yusuf, among others.
The members were appointed from 22 states, while the minister was given the privilege to appoint four other members
Amaechi charged them with the responsibility of ensuring sustenance of the railway development in the country.
“For us not to disagree, let us continue from where the last board chairman stopped. He has been very proactive in resolving some of the challenges in their railway construction,” he stated.
