Anambra community urges Obiano to wade into feud with monarch

The feud between the traditional ruler of Umunya, Oyi Council of Anambra State, Igwe Kris Onyekwuluje, and his subjects has got messier, prompting a section of the community to invite Governor Willie Obiano into the matter.

Briefing newsmen yesterday, Odumodu Ebenabo indigenes stated that the monarch should be held responsible for any calamity that might befall him.

The secretary-general, Sunday Esedo, said the traditional ruler was wont to using top security chiefs to cow them into submission.
