The gubernatorial candidate of Advanced National Democratic Party (ANDP) in Lagos State, Hon. Dr. Olusegun M. Musa has decried the high rate of poverty, unemployment and insecurity in the country.

He lamented that both the Federal and Lagos State government have failed in their responsibilities to protect lives and properties of the citizenry, adding that crime rate is on the increase in the state, due to lack of jobs and high rate of poverty inflicted on the masses by the government.

Musa advised Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to urgently address the alarming rate of crime, unemployment and poverty, instead of the beautification of the environment and constructing bus stops and motor parks across the nooks and crannies of the state.

The guber candidate berated the All Progressives Congress for failing to deliver the dividends of democracy to people after almost four years in power, stressing that a government that cannot deliver its electoral promises had failed the electorate and should be voted out of office.

The ANDP governorship hopeful said if elected, he would provide modern general hospitals across the 57 local government areas, while civil servants will be given cars and houses on long-term loans agreement, provide water transportation and decongest the Apapa Port, including eradicating traffic gridlock in the Lagos metropolis.
