Enugu State governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Senator Ayogu Eze, yesterday, unveiled his manifesto with a promise to prioritise wealth creation and citizens’ welfare.

Eze outlined his 12-point areas of priority to include security, agriculture, education, infrastructure/rural development, healthcare, sports, economy, housing/urban development, transportation, independent power projects, coal, and locality administration.

On his social contract with Enugu people, he promised to run a goal-oriented administration that is effective, efficient, prudent, and accountable.

Worried by the increasing number of pensioners dying while waiting to be paid, Eze assured pensioners that when elected, he will ensure prompt payment of pensions and other entitlements to senior citizens.

The senator said this while unveiling his campaign materials, noting that the death of pensioners waiting for their entitlement gives the impression that the society is not grateful for the services rendered in their active period.

On the minimum wage debate, Eze said as governor, he would implement the proposed minimum wage of N30,000.
