Bago, while congratulating the new aides, said their appointment was based on their track records and achievements.
The new SAs include Mohammed Kolo (Political Matters), Mohammed Mariga (Legislative Matters), Manko Bagudu (Legal Matters/Government House Counsel), Mohammed Nda (Economic Matters), Isah Audu (Public Service Matters) and former Commissioner of Police (CP), Yusuf Kolo (Heinous Crime and Substance Abuse).
The governor called on them to give their best and bring to bear their wealth of experience for the development of the state.
Similarly, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has submitted 52 names to the House of Assembly for screening.
A statement issued in Makurdi, yesterday, by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tersoo Kula, indicated that the names might have been submitted to the House earlier, but was only made public yesterday.
On the list are 14 commissioner nominees, 17 SAs and 24 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).
According to the statement, the 41 names are the initial nominees, as others are expected to be announced in due course.
Among the commissioner-nominees are Joyce Luga, Omale Omale, Dr. Yanmar Ortese, Rev (Dr.) Frederick Ikyaan, Ugwu Odoh, Kwaghba Amande and Matthew Aboh.
Others are Tiza Imojime, Aondowase Kunde, Prof. Jonah Ogbaji, Martin Shaager, Michael Oglegba, Ann Itodo and Fidelis Mnyim.
