Bello, Wada, 57 others to contest Kogi guber poll

Governor Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC), his People Democratic Party (PDP) rival, Musa Wada, and 57 others are to participate in the November 16, 2019 gubernatorial election in Kogi.

Governor Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC), his People Democratic Party (PDP) rival, Musa Wada, and 57 others are to participate in the November 16, 2019 gubernatorial election in Kogi.

Similarly, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cleared 64 political parties for same exercise in Bayelsa State.

The information was contained in the lists of candidates and parties released by the electoral umpire for both states yesterday in Abuja.

INEC affirmed David Lyon and Douye Diri as APC and PDP governorship candidates for Bayelsa.

The electoral body had set September 9 as last day for submission of flag-bearers as contained in its revised timetable for the polls.
