The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has set aside tomorrow, May 6 to 12, 2019 for all Bible users to celebrate the Bible Week throughout the country.
The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has set aside tomorrow, May 6 to 12, 2019 for all Bible users to celebrate the Bible Week throughout the country.
According to the Manager, Media and Public Relations, Benjamin Mordi, the theme for this year’s event which is “The Lord is King, and He rules the nations” will feature lectures, Bible quiz, debates, exchange of pulpit and prayer among other programmes.
He noted that the annual Bible week celebration is organised to raise consciousness for Bible work in the country, offer prayers and also raise funds to support the efforts of BSN in translation, publishing and distribution, adding that it costs BSN a minimum of N40m to complete a translation project.
