According to initial reports, the victim, a 46-year-old Nigerian man, was hit by a BMW driven by a 25-year-old woman who tested positive for alcohol.

The car was carrying four young people from Assemini and Cagliari, who were taken to Brotzu and Monserrato Polyclinic hospitals for medical checks. Their conditions are reported to be non-serious.
