Borno police reunite abducted Minna housewife with husband

Borno State Police Command has reunited an abducted wife, Hajiya Habiba, with her husband, Usman Bappa, in Maiduguri, the state capital.
Habiba was abducted on June 11 by suspected kidnappers in a house in Magama Local Council of Niger State but was rescued at a motor park in Maiduguri, the state capital.
Her husband was the All Progressives Congress (APC) Council Chairman in Niger State.
Borno State Commissioner of Police, Abdu Umar, who reunited the woman to her husband yesterday, said the victim was brought to the Police Headquarters by officials of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO).
The rescued housewife and her husband, who thanked the police, NURTW and NARTO, said an undisclosed amount was paid to the kidnappers on June 11 in Maiduguri.
