BTO4PBAT urges Ondo voters to back Tinubu’s re-election

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

… Urges youth on active participation in democratic process

A pro-Tinubu support group, BTO4PBAT, has urged the electorate in Ondo State on the need to be prepared ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that valid Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) remain the single most important tool for citizens seeking to influence the country’s political direction.

The group stated this during the grand finale of its ward-to-ward tour in the Akoko North West Local Council Area of the state, where stakeholders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) vowed support for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu.

With the group convened by the minister of interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, director general of the platform, Adesuyi Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon reaffirmed the group commitment to the ideals of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.

While addressing residents of the local government at the council secretariat, Adojutelegan emphasised that their support for Tinubu must be matched by genuine civic action.

According to the director-general of the group, eligible citizens must verify that their PVCs remain valid and up-to-date, warning that expired or missing cards will disenfranchise voters regardless of their political convictions.

Adojutelegan, who appeals to eligible youths, particularly those who have crossed the eighteen-year threshold, urged them to complete voter registration and actively participate in the democratic process.

He describes voter preparedness not as an optional exercise but as a fundamental duty for anyone seeking accountability from elected officials.

“We are not here to entertain anyone but to remind every household that the power to renew this mandate rests in your hands, literally in the PVC you hold.

“A valid voter card is your voice. Without it, you are shouting into an empty room on election day. Go and check your cards, renew them if necessary, and for those turning eighteen, register without delay,” Adojutelegan stated.

The Chairman of APC in the local government, Kehinde Obanla, who commended the achievements of the Minister of Interior, Tunji-Ojo, during his tenure in the House of Representatives, described the minister as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to human development and community advancement remain evident across the constituency, the state and the country.

Obanla further urged constituents to remain steadfast in their support for the APC, urging them to deliver overwhelming votes for the party at the polls.

On his part, Folajimi Gbenga, publicity secretary of the support group, noted that Ondo State recorded an impressive voter participation rate of approximately 70 per cent in previous elections, which he attributed to the state’s growing political relevance.

The Coordinator of BTO Ambassadors in the local government, Idowu Aiyegbusi, stressed that continued support for Tinubu would translate into sustained national development.

He lauded Tunji-Ojo’s leadership, describing the interior minister as a strong advocate of the Renewed Hope Agenda and a symbol of responsive governance whose track record demonstrates what focused political stewardship can achieve.
