Buhari, Daniel congratulate Sunny Ade at 70
President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated music legend, King Sunny Ade, as he turns 70 years today.
A statement issued yesterday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said: “As a Nigerian musician, the president believes the septuagenarian has over the years brought pride to his country by mastering his art against all odds, taking the African musical genre to the global stage, and serving as an inspiration and a mentor to upcoming artistes.”
Also, the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has greeted King Sunny Ade on his 70th anniversary.
Daniel, in a congratulatory message issued by his media officer, Mr. Ayo Giwa in Abeokuta yesterday described the juju musician as “one of the greatest stars that Nigeria has ever known.”
