President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday congratulated Chief Leemon Ikpea, as he turned 62 on December 19, 2018.

The President appreciates the grace of God, which brought Chief Ikpea, a major investor in the oil and gas industry, from humble beginnings to the topmost rungs of the country’s business ladder.

He described the celebrant as a classic example of what God can do in shaping the fortunes of human beings who trust in Him.

“President Buhari rejoices with his family, friends and business associates. Lee Engineering and Construction Company, of which Chief Ikpea is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, is one of the homegrown investors in the oil and gas industry,” a statement said.

The President salutes Chief Ikpea’s philanthropy, which has seen him giving scholarships and endowments to the less privileged in society.

President Buhari prays that Chief Ikpea will continue to serve God and humanity in good health, long life and prosperity and grace to enjoy the fruits of his enterprise, which he built through a dint of hard work.
