President Muhammadu Buhari has extended Nigeria’s greetings and message of congratulations to the Saudi Monarch and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Mohammed bin Salman, on the occasion of the Saudi Arabian National Day.

He said Nigeria values the special relationship between the two countries, which is based on cooperation and longstanding mutual support to each other.

He said Nigeria remains firmly committed to the deepening of special bilateral relations between the two nations, and expressed optimism that it would continue to grow from strength to strength under the efforts of both leaders.

He expressed hope that “the robust ties between the two would be further cemented in the years ahead to cover existing and new areas of common interests.”
