Buhari replaces NDDC acting MD, enlarges board

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday named Prof. Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei to replace Joy Nunieh as Acting Managing Director of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday named Prof. Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei to replace Joy Nunieh as Acting Managing Director of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

He also approved the enlargement of the committee from three to five members.

Besides Pondei, the rest four are Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, Ag. Executive Director (Projects); Mr. Ibanga Bassey Etang, Ag. Executive Director (Finance and Administration); Mrs. Caroline Nagbo (member); and Cecilia Bukola Akintomide (member).

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in statement yesterday, explained that the president had earlier approved that the IMC would be in place till the forensic audit of the organisation was concluded.
