President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria tomorrow, Friday March 10, 2017, his spokesman, Femi Adesina said in a statement on Thursday evening.

But he did not state the specific time the president would arrive.

With the Abuja airport already closed for repair works on its runway, it is believed that the president would likely land at the Kaduna International Airport.

Buhari left the country on January 19, 2017, for a vacation, during which he had routine medical check-ups. The holiday was extended based on doctors’ recommendation for further tests and rest.

“President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes,” Adesina said.

Sir, your being sick is not a sign of weakness. Please General Buhari, tell Nigerians what your disease is and what was done for you, so we, that voted you into your public office, making you public citizen No 1, can learn. The whole world knew when the following happened: 1. Ariel Sharon of Israel-Stroke. 2. President Bill Clinton-Heart Disease and removal of a precancerous polyp from his intestines. 3. Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Regan-Alzheimers disease. 4.Former depuyt governor of a western state in Nigeria-Breast Cancer. Please use your position as the President of Nigeria to enlighten the public about the disease, its prevention and treatment. Another example is Fela Anikulapo Kuti-AIDS. The more prominent a person with a disease, the stronger the information, education and communication of that disease to people. Please move Nigeria forwards from the dark ages of unnecessary secrecy. I wish you well sir!
