Buratai takes medical outreach to Kaduna

Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has taken free medical outreach to about 5,000 residents of Rigachikun, Igabi Council of Kaduna State.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has taken free medical outreach to about 5,000 residents of Rigachikun, Igabi Council of Kaduna State.

The outreach, targeted at select communities with little or no medical facility, was part of the activities for this year’s COAS conference.Highlights of the outreach included donation of wheelchairs, crutches, spectacles, blood pressure test kit, drugs among others.

According to the army chief, Rigachikun was targeted for the outreach to enhance civil-military relationship in the area.Represented by the Chief of Administration, Army Headquarters, Maj-Gen. Sani Yusuf, the COAS added that the outreach was part of the army’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
