Catholic Bishop of Oyo Diocese, Reverend Emmanuel Badejo, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for diversifying to agriculture and sustaining the war on terrorism.

Badejo who spoke at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos during the 25th Priestly Anniversary of Reverend Father Michael Umoh, noted that in the area of organising Nigeria’s financial landscape, the present administration had taken some measures that appear to be helping and should be encouraged.

He, however, pointed out that there were some loopholes that had led to some people complaining of being maginalised, adding that this was having a negative effect on the success so far achieved and could lead to very devastating results.

Badejo, who is also in charge of communications for the Church in West Africa, urged the Federal Government to give every Nigerian a sense of belonging, as every part of the country needed to come together to build a greater country.

Badejo condemned the negligence in handling some salient issues that are inimical to the peace of the nation and called for urgent investigation of those issues.
