The Pastor-in-charge of Province One, who doubles as Assistant Pastor, Region One of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Samuel Olaniyan, has urged the government to empower the private sector with a view to solving unemployment in the country.

Olaniyan, who stated this at a media briefing held at the Church Headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos, urged the government to put things in the right perspective to move Nigeria forward.

“There is a kind of distortion in our system that needs to be corrected and the reason we are praying for the right leader with the right focus.

“What the government should do is to create the enabling environment, provide infrastructure, put the right, fiscal and monetary policies in place for the private sector to create jobs,” he said.
