Gunmen yesterday abducted four people in Ikoyi, Ijumu Local Council of Kogi State.

The Commissioner of Environment in the state, Ade Omofaiye, escaped with gunshot wounds, during the attack, according to reports.

As of press time, details of the kidnap are still sketchy, while the police are yet to confirm the incident.
