Customers satisfaction, others in focus at Power Nigeria’s exhibition

Feroz Parker, exhibition director, Informa Industrial Group, said in his speech that this edition is the most suited to date to assist the country’s growing power sector.

According to him, solar is becoming an increasingly important industry sector and “we have made sure that our content streams this year are set up to support discussions on how to grow solar in the country.”

The sixth edition of Power Nigeria’s exhibition in Lagos continued yesterday with a focus on strategic and technical discussions such as reaching last miles, customers managing projects and financial risk and building on and off-grid solar capacity.

Feroz Parker, exhibition director, Informa Industrial Group, said in his speech that this edition is the most suited to date to assist the country’s growing power sector.

According to him, solar is becoming an increasingly important industry sector and “we have made sure that our content streams this year are set up to support discussions on how to grow solar in the country.”

Power Nigeria’s sixth edition is world class, up to date with 100 exhibitors from 11 countries offering visitors a first look at some of the latest products available in the market, covering transmission and distribution cables, transformers, switchgears and lighting. It is a platform for municipal, disco, financial, manufacturing and solar leaders to come together to discuss the nation’s electricity deficiencies and solutions with the greater electricity market.

At the event is Skipper Seil Limited, which is known for manufacturing major equipment for substation transmission and distribution, installed in over 50 countries, with forward integration EPC projects, mainly in Africa, the Middle East, India and SAARC countries.

It added: “Skipper Power transformers are well known for their quality, reliability and dependability for operation even under adverse environmental conditions. Skipper Nigeria has become a household name in Nigeria and West Africa and has been an active contributor to growth of the Nigerian power sector as an investor and project developer. Skipper’s product divisions supplied and installed hundreds of power transformers and thousands of distribution transformer, overhead distribution and transmission equipment, circuit breakers, metering panel. This world-class product is manufactured in skipper’s manufacturing facilities in India, UAE and Nigeria.”

Poweregion brands are in this year’s exhibiton with their solar air conditioner, reverse cycle solar Pv inverter air conditioners consume less energy than a running light bulb at peak absorption levels with different range of generators.”
