David Mark assures on ADC future amid party setbacks

THE national chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Senator David Mark has assured that despite the setbacks, the party will not lose focus but remain unshaken .

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has created a major setback for the party be suspending recognition of it’s leadership in the commission’s interpretation of a n Appeal Court pronouncement that stausquo ante-bellum be maintained in the party’s leadership  squabbles .

In a Esther message sighed by his Media Aide Paul Muneh, senator also called on Nigerians to embrace religious harmony , peace and national unity .

The former Senate President  described Easter as a season that embodies sacrifice, hope, renewal and  triumph of light over darkness.

Senator Mark also  urged citizens to reflect on the virtues of love, selflessness, and forgiveness as exemplified by Jesus Christ

He stressed the need for Nigerians, regardless of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations to promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect, noting  that the country’s diversity should serve as a source of strength rather than division.

“Mark also appealed to citizens to remain calm and law-abiding, underscoring the importance of sustaining peace and stability nationwide.

“Reassuring Nigerians about the state of his party, the ADC chairman said the party remains strong, united, and unshaken despite recent challenges.”

According to him, “the temporary setbacks have only reinforced the party’s resolve and strengthened its commitment to democratic ideals and the delivery of good governance.

“ADC remains focused and unwavering in its mission to enthrone democratic ethos, uphold the rule of law, and provide purposeful leadership that addresses the needs and aspirations of Nigerians,” he said.”

He  expressed confidence in the future of the party, affirming his commitment to leading the ADC to victory in the 2027 general elections.

“He further expressed optimism that the Easter celebration would inspire renewed faith and hope for a better Nigeria.”

The ADC national chairman wished all Christians a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration.
