Dinah Lugard bags ‘Yessiey Woman Of The Year’ award


Dinah Lugard, an electrical engineering and cybersecurity professional, has been honored with the award of “Yessiey Woman Of The Year” at the Yessiey Awards, presented by Yessiey Magazine. These awards celebrate exceptional achievements, recognizing groundbreaking inventions, discoveries, honors, awards, and extraordinary contributions.

The Yessiey Awards spotlight young role models who selflessly improve lives, embodying values like kindness, compassion, and service. Dinah Lugard’s journey to this impressive achievement is incredibly inspirational, the award organisers said.

Her journey began in the tech industry as an electrical engineer and cybersecurity expert. She authored the book “Prison Without Bars: Breaking The Chains Of Drug Addiction,” produced the impactful documentary “Drug Pandemic,” and founded ‘The Cure Initiative For Individuals With Substance Abuse NGO’ and the pioneering SoberTech Platform.

Dinah created SoberTech and established her NGO to uplift the less privileged and advocate for positive social change, providing essentials and educational opportunities to underprivileged communities across Nigeria.
