Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, Rotary Club of Ewutuntun Prestige, and Rotary Club of Ewutuntun Global have finalised plans to hold a membership awareness campaign walk and seminar tomorrow, August 29, 2026, as part of efforts to attract new members and raise awareness about Rotary’s humanitarian and community service activities.
The seminar and campaign walk, themed “Grow Membership, Increase Our Impact,” will kick off at 9:00 a.m. from Joy Gate Hotel, Airport Road, where Rotarians, prospective members, community stakeholders and other interested participants will join for an engaging conversation on membership growth, retention and the importance of building a stronger Rotary network.
President of the Rotary Club of Ewutuntun, Oswald Ikegbulam, who spoke on the event, said the initiative was part of the club’s efforts to strengthen membership, raise awareness about Rotary’s humanitarian work and broaden the organisation’s community impact.
“The walk is designed to take the message of Rotary directly into the community, create awareness about service opportunities, and encourage more people to join the Rotary family,” he said.
On his part, President of the Rotary Club of Ewutuntun Global, Dolapo Ayoola, said that membership growth is essential to expanding Rotary’s ability to serve communities and create lasting impact.
He noted that the clubs seek to inspire individuals to understand the values of Rotary and become active participants in its mission of selfless and humanitarian services.
In his contribution, President of the Rotary Club of Ewutuntun Prestige, Festus Shoyoye, urged members of the public to join the membership campaign walk to strengthen and increase their collective impact in the community.
