Former Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, yesterday, said President Bola Tinibu should have provided free education and health services to all Nigerians instead of giving palliatives.
Shittu, who spoke on a live programme in Ibadan, submitted that free health care and education at all levels would have made more impact than donating handouts.
On the emolument of federal lawmakers, the ex-minister insisted that the President does not have powers over pay of legislators.
He, however, scored the Nigerian leader high on performance in his first 100 days in office.
