Renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has refuted claims linking him to popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, in a bribery and pardon scandal.
The allegations surfaced in a viral video by blogger Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who claimed that some EFCC officers received N15 million from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charges.
Additionally, VeryDarkMan alleged that Falana sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for N10 million. But during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Falana denied the accusations, stating that he has never met or talked with Bobrisky
Falana recounted how Bobrisky approached his son for financial assistance while in prison, asking for N3 million to secure a spot in a VIP section. However, Falz declined, citing concerns about bribing prison authorities.
Falana emphasised that no further communication occurred, dismissing the claims as defamatory.
