Family, friends hold 11th Fidau/ remembrance in honour of Arisekola Alao

The 11th Fidau / Remembrance Anniversary of Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Oluwo-Nla, Basorun Ibadan, Oyo State.

The first Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland and Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs died in his London, United Kingdom (UK) home on June 18 , 2014, at the age of 69.

He was buried on June 19,b2014 in his Oluwo-Nla, Basorun Ibadan,Oyo State home after a public/open lying-in-state at the Lekan Salami Sport Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
