“This is because, Nigerians will have unhindered access to Dubai to do business and to exchange a kind of international relations and this have great effects on our economy. So, I am appealing to the minister to impress this on President Bola Tinubu-led federal government to expedite action on their discussion with the government of Dubai to resolve the matter and ensured that Dubai is always open to Nigerians to enter for business transactions and vice versa.”
The business man who also spoke on the private sector managing Nigeria airports said such will ensure effective running and management of the airports.
He said, “That is what is happening in most developed countries of the world even in UK, we a Nigerian who owns an airport and such can also happen here. So privatisation has been helpful to most countries that are into it.
“It will be good for the system if private bodies and entities are given the right of managing our airport. There will be massive change, good maintenance of facilities and transformation in the aviation sector if such is introduced.”

On the need to resuscitate the country national airline, the Nigeria Air, Ajibola said, “If the airline is launched and make a partnership agreement with the private sector, I am very sure it will come out to be that giant of Africa in the aviation sector irrespective of the year it started . Of course, we might have got it wrong in the past, but it is not bad to start again. So, I believe that Nigeria Air will come back in this era of President Tinubu.”
