Foreshore Waters Limited has increased its presence in key Lagos neighbourhoods after completing and handing over more than 2,500 residential units across Ikoyi, Banana Island and Ikeja GRA, according to figures released by the company.
The real estate firm, a subsidiary of the Lekki Gardens Group, said it currently has about 3,000 additional housing units at different stages of construction across more than 20 sites, reflecting sustained activity in the city’s high-end residential market.
Speaking at the handover of an estate in Ikoyi, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lekki Gardens and Foreshore Waters, Dr Richard Nyong, said investor confidence had been central to the company’s operations.
“When people choose to trust us, when they decide to partner with us and put their hard-earned money in our hands, there is only one direction their investment can go. Higher and higher. That has been our promise from day one, and today, as we hand over these keys, we have kept that promise yet again,” Nyong said.
Company data indicate that Foreshore Waters has completed over 20 residential developments within the past decade, serving more than 2,000 homeowners in waterfront and mainland locations. Its projects include apartment blocks and gated estates in Osborne Foreshore, Banana Island Road and Ikeja GRA, areas that have seen increased demand for planned residential communities.
Beyond housing delivery, the developer said its construction activities have generated employment across the building sector and related supply chains, with more than one million jobs linked directly or indirectly to its projects.
The company also cited ongoing facility management arrangements in completed estates, including power supply, water treatment and security services, as part of its operational model.
Foreshore Waters said it plans to continue construction on new sites in Lagos as urban housing demand grows, with further projects expected to be delivered over the next few years.
