Firm partners NTA to equip graduates
Iconic Nigeria is partnering the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to mentor graduates in Lagos with a view to making them fit for purpose.
According to the promoters of the partnership, a workshop being put together to retool the graduates is scheduled for June 20 and will kick off with a symposium, where five keynote speakers will discuss the theme: ‘Efficacy of Economic Diversification and Entrepreneurship in Transforming Nigeria’s Economy’.
Editor-in-chief, Iconic Nigeria, Chi-Elizabeth Duru Ocan said: “Statistics show there are millions of unemployed and underemployed graduates in Nigeria. We hope that our graduate workshops will provide them with invaluable lessons and networking experiences for the corporate world.”
Head of research, Iconic Nigeria, Ogochukwu Ejike, said the career fair and entrepreneur lab session for on-the-spot job interviews and start-up launch pad will be the culmination of the workshop.
Executive Director, Marketing, NTA, Salihu Abdulhamid Sembo said NTA is partnering with Iconic Nigeria to host the workshop with exclusive rights to cover the event.
As the nation’s public broadcaster, we are fully committed to supporting the graduate workshop, which is designed and tailored to get our young and vibrant youths mentored in their choice of future endeavours.”
