First batch of 423 Osun pilgrims to arrive Nigeria on Saturday

The first batch of Osun State Muslim  pilgrims that performed the 2025 hajj operations is due to depart King Adulazeez International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by 10am on Saturday and arrive Nigeria by 4pm same day.
 
The Secretary of Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr. Muritala Fakunle, who disclosed this, said 423 new Alhajis and Alhajas  would be onboard the first batch of home-bound flight of Osun pilgrims.
 
The Secretary of the Board, who described the  health and physical conditions of all the  pilgrims from Osun State  presently in the holy land as good and commendable, added that they were equally in an apprehensive  mood as they  look forward to a great reunion with their families after  undergoing a very rigorous but spiritually rewarding hajj exercise for many days in both Makkah and Madinah.
 
Meanwhile, Fakunle,on behalf of the Amir ul Hajj and Chairman,Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board,Sheik Moruf Ishola, also announced that all arrangements for the second batch of the  pilgrims to return home on Sunday have been concluded by the Board.

Recall that 1,220 pilgrims from Osun state left the shores of Nigeria via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja,  to take part in the annual Muslim religious journey to the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia to worship Allah in line with one of the five pillars of Islam.
