To address infrastructural decay in one of Nigeria’s foremost tertiary institutions, Flour Mills Nigeria Plc has donated laboratory equipment, a brand new bus, office furniture and other items valued at N60 million to the School of Technology, Yaba College of Technology.

The gesture, according to the Group Managing Director, Paul Gbededo, is in line with the firm’s belief that technology and education are the future of Nigeria and that there is a need for higher institutions in Nigeria to be well-equipped with modern technology to create a conducive environment for learning. Gbadedo donated these items at the 2019 yearly lecture/exhibition/fundraising of the school in Lagos.

Gbededo, who was represented by the Corporate Services Manager, FMN, Adebayo Olalekan Adebekun, said the company was doing a lot for the tertiary institutions in Nigeria because of its belief in technology in solving the country’s economic challenges and they have been supporting infrastructure development in many other tertiary institutions across the country.
