Miss Ideal Lagos, Omobolaji Folatunmise Samiat, has emerged winner of the fan vote for the Miss Ideal Nigeria 2025 competition, securing her place in the finals.
Omobolaji, a medical student and entrepreneur, polled 15 percent of over 100,000 votes cast nationwide, edging out Miss Ideal Osun, Solape Sanni, who garnered 14.8 percent, and Miss Ideal Imo, Angel Emaka, who scored 14.7 percent. Other contestants in the top six include Kasa Kosisochukwu Joan, Stephanie Goodluck, and Felicity Moses.
Organisers said the top 20 contestants will be officially announced on September 3. They will participate in a month-long online preliminary before proceeding to Pageant Week, a reality show packaged by Party Hollof in association with Urock Media and TN Media. The grand finale is scheduled for November 2, with the eventual winner to receive a prize package worth ₦10 million.
The package includes an all-expenses-paid trip to an international pageant courtesy of Owllup, a one-year talent management contract with House of Twitch, and cash prizes from former queens, including Trustmudge and Stephanie Kingsley.
Omobolaji, who combines her medical studies with running a logistics business, said she hopes to use the platform to inspire others, overcome personal fears, and promote empowerment. She cited South African beauty queen Zozibini Tunzi as her role model, praising her authenticity and advocacy for women.
The current Miss Ideal Nigeria, Nehita Irieme, has set what organisers described as a high standard for contestants. Since her coronation, she has won more than 10 awards, produced the award-winning short film In Her Shoes, and become the Face of Amstel Malta.
With her fan vote victory, Omobolaji now advances to the finals, where she will compete for the Miss Ideal Nigeria 2025 crown.
