Gidi Jobs fair to create job opportunities


An essential recruitment firm in Nigeria that is also into human resource consulting and out sourcing, Gidi Jobs, will be holding a job fair on December 7, in Lagos.

According to the co-founder of the recruiting firm and the managing director of the sister company, Poise Academy graduate school, Asher Adeniyi, “The jobs summit and the young executives jobs fair was initiated as a result of our working with young people for over seven years, we all know the unemployment situation in Nigeria, we want to use the summit to showcase what poise graduate finishing academy has achieved over the years.”

Adeniyi who insists that there are jobs out there said, “The fair will also bring people together to get jobs and to let the jobless ones know why they are not getting jobs so they can do better.”

Academic, corporate leaders, CEOs from all works of life will be coming together to discourse what is happening in the different sectors and what the government is doing about the unemployment situation in Nigeria.

Tagged, Preparing for the Future Work, Adeniyi said, “We are aware that some of the current jobs have been replaced by machines, what is the future of our youths, are we preparing them for the work of the future, we are talking of self driven cars now, so, it means that shortly, we won’t even need drivers again, already we know about the dish washing machines that have replaced human labour, what is the future for semi-skilled people, even graduates that are very educated.”
