Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has inaugurated All Progressives Congress (APC) 21-member reconciliation committee to pacify aggrieved members in the last primary election state.

The committee, which duty is, among others, to identify and suggest compensation for aggrieved members, is headed by the Deputy Governor, Manassah Jatau.

Inaugurating the members at the Government House, yesterday, Yahaya admitted that some of them were wronged, but charged the committee to ensure that they reconcile with the party.

“You are charged to reconcile everybody because, as humans, we are bound to err and wrong our members and supporters,” he said.

“Now that the state’s party primary is over, it’s just befitting to have a common goal, which is to deliver the state,” he urged.

According to the governor, the compensation is in recognition of their values and importance to the party.

Jatau promised to deliver on the task, urging his colleagues to be ready for the responsibility.
