Governors condemn execution of aid workers in North East

The Northern Governors Forum (NSGF) has condemned the reported execution of four aid workers by terrorists in the North-East geopolitical zone, regretting the ignoble fate that befell “well-meaning and philanthropic citizens that had offered themselves to serve humanity and help those in need.”

The forum’s chairman and Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, conveyed the condemnation, describing the heinous act as “regrettable and conduct that must not go unpunished.”

Sympathising with the families of the victims, governors expressed sadness at the development, which they added: “is not only condemnable but a crime against humanity and good conscience.”
