Group alleges plot to subvert justice in Katsina

Democracy and Transparency Network (DTN) has raised the alarm over alleged plot to undermine justice in the petition challenging the re-election of Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari.

In a statement yesterday, the non-governmental organisation alleged subtle moves to influence the tribunal and urged relevant stakeholders to be vigilant.

According to the statement signed by Abubakar Saidu, the group warned parties in the matter to resist every temptation, noting that “one of the legacies we can leave behind is for us to ensure justice in all matters, especially an issue as crucial as the election petition tribunal.”
