Group commends FG for Emefiele’s reappointment

Arise Nigeria, an Association of Nigerians in Europe (ANE), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for reappointing Godwin Emefiele as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This commendation follows reactions in and outside of the country, just as the group said the decision was the final victory over ethnic and religious bigotry.

Association of Nigerians in Europe in a communiqué issued at the end of its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Belgium to deliberate on recent happenings in the country, expressed excitement over Emefiele’s reappointment at the apex bank.

It also commended the sacrifices made by the Nigerian troops fighting terrorism in North East of Nigeria and also praised the leadership of the various Armed Forces in providing guidance and direction for their services.

The communiqué was jointly signed by President, Dr. Agwu Onyeke, Adesegun Lawal (Ukraine), Chief Adekoya (Italy), Bright Anyanwu (Spain), Godspower Smith (Germany), Chuba Chime (UK), Charles Ayoola (UK), Professor Afik Babarinde (Cyprus), Anita Ibeh (Malta); John Umeh (Ireland) and Tobias Idoko (Netherlands).
