Group plans talk on infrastructural deficit

Worried about the country’s infrastructural deficit, a group, the Public Policy Forum, is set to hold a town hall meeting on tackling Nigeria’s infrastructural deficit with Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

The event, tagged “Nigeria’s Infrastructural Revolution: Road to a new Future,” which will hold in Abuja on May 25, 2021, will feature a select cast of outstanding performers and agents of the infrastructural transformation at federal, state and private sector levels.

Expected governors at the talkshow include Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and Prof. Ben Ayade of Cross River State.

Others are Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta and Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele.

Select industry players and civil society groups at the event scheduled for Shehu Musa YarAdua Centre would join them.

The elder statesman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, will chair the event.
