Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode might have described Babajide Sanwo-Olu to whom he lost the Lagos State governorship primaries has an unfit for the office of the governor last week. But when the two men met  their political benefactor Bola Tinubu at the national convention of the APC Saturday night, it was all hugs and smiles

Photos from the convention also Ambode in a good mood with his predecessor Babatunde Fashola. A source once told The Guardian that both men did not have a chummy relationship owing to Fashola’s preference for another person to succeed him.

The National Convention, at the Eagle Square, Abuja, was for the affirmation of President Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential candidate of the party for the 2019 election.
