ICT firm, Kaduna govt to partner against kidnap of pupils
Ihifix Technologies has said it is partnering with the Kaduna State Government in building a digital platform that allows teaching of students from home, as schools remain shut because of insecurity.
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) firm maintained that the platform, when launched, would prevent the exposure of pupils to the risk of kidnap, as effective communication between them and their teachers continue without the need for any physical presence in school.
Ihifix Team Lead in Kaduna, Emmanuel Adikpe, noted that the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and insecurity seriously affected access to education in the state.
Incessant abduction of school children in Kaduna schools had led to the closure of schools in the state, leaving students with no alternative access to education.
