Ihedioha to immortalise ex-lawmaker as Dogara, Tambuwal pay tributes
Imo State Governor-elect Emeka Ihedioha has promised to immortalise former House of Representatives member, Bethel Amadi, who died recently.
Ihedioha, who joined both serving and erstwhile members to pay their last respects, pledged to heed the counsel of one-time speaker of the chamber and current governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, to honour the ex-lawmaker when he takes office on the 29th of next month.
The governor-elect described Amadi as a brother’s keeper whose support contributed greatly to his victory at the polls.
The incumbent speaker, Yakubu Dogara, said the late legislator would be greatly missed by those he impacted positively.
On his part, Tambuwal eulogised his sterling leadership qualities.
