An Imo State-based journalist, Bright Njoku, has announced plans to build and donate a three-bedroom apartment to an indigent, Mr Godwin Ewuzie, from Umuaro community in Isiala Mbano Council of the state.

Njoku, also the Publisher of Horn and Onion Newspapers, who disclosed this in Owerri, yesterday, while fielding questions from newsmen at an event marking his birthday, said the apartment, which would be furnished to taste, is estimated to cost N8 million.

He said his intention was to reciprocate the kind gesture of the beneficiary, who, he said, harboured him in his one-bedroom apartment in Owerri, shortly after his university education in the mid-80s.

The journalist also unveiled his foundation, which, he said, would focus on promoting the journalism profession and training in the state; reaching out to the needy in the society and rendering other humanitarian services to the people.
