Insecurity: APC chieftain urges Nigerians to be prayerful during Ramadan

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji. Musa Ali has urged Muslims in Nigeria to be security conscious.

Ali appealed to members of other religions, and tribes living in Kaduna and other Northern States to maintain peace and promote unity in their places of residence.

He said the North will not condole troublesome visitors from other religions or tribes, who have come to settle in any part of the Northern States to promote violence and discord.

He warned people from other tribes that engage in the sale of Alcohol to ensure they don’t indulge in such during this Ramadan period, warning sternly that anyone caught indulging or selling such to their Muslim brothers will be prosecuted.

According to him, Nigeria is a multi-ethnic group, and every group has her custom and traditions which must be respected by everyone and anyone whether the people of that region itself or people of another ethnic group who have chosen nor decided to settle in that region.

He described the activity of anyone trying to perpetuate wrongdoings during and after Ramadan as totally unacceptable, saying the actions of such individuals, will be strongly resisted with equal force of the law.

Ali wished Kaduna State governor Nasir Al-Rufai, the Miyetti Allah Chairman in Kaduna, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, President Muhammed Buhari, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, wishing all Muslims and Nigeria in general successful Ramadan.
