Pistis Life and Leadership Institute (PLLI), a human capital development organisation for leaders, with a distinct framework for facilitating learning in Africa, has been launched in Lagos.

Founder of the group, Godman Akinlabi, accompanied by Chairman of the occasion, Femi Johnson; Board of Trustees member, Meka Olowola; General Manager, Peter Eze; Interim Management Board members, Kunbi Adeoti and Busola Wale-Siyanbola, who spoke at a press conference, said the institute had the vision of building exceptional leaders, who would be equipped with the right values to transform societies and impact Africa.

He noted that with a youthful, fast-growing population and abundant natural resources, Africa is seen as the next frontier for economic growth, which needs strong institutions, smart policies and good leadership to realise its potential.

Meanwhile, the PLLI said it had scheduled to hold its inaugural course on December 5, 2021, via online zoom platform by its School of Enterprise Development to feature popular entertainment figures, including music record label boss, Audu Maikori, ace comedian, Ali Baba, and renowned movie director, Kemi Adetiba.

It also aims to carry out a voters’ registration sensitisation webinar tagged “Making Your Votes Count”; billed to hold on January 15, 2022, and to be hosted by the Institute’s School of Governance and Politics.
