Jubilation as enviable transport expands CNG initiative nationwide

Promises wider distribution of CNG tricycles

There was widespread excitement and celebration following the announcement by Enviable Transport to expand the circulation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tricycles across the country.

The initiative is aimed at promoting the use of CNG as an alternative fuel, offering a cleaner and more affordable option compared to conventional petrol and diesel.

In a statement made available to journalists, the Group Managing Director of Enviable Transport, Chief Chukwuemeka Ituma, highlighted the numerous benefits of the initiative, including reduced fuel costs, lower carbon emissions, and improved engine efficiency.

He noted that the Drive CNG Initiative aligns with global efforts to adopt environmentally friendly energy solutions while also addressing the rising cost of transportation.

“Drivers and fleet operators will be greatly impacted by this initiative, as it is designed to reduce operational costs and improve profitability,” he said.

Beyond the economic benefits, Ituma added that the initiative would contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing air pollution and promoting cleaner urban living.
