OMODA & JAECOO have showcased a new generation of intelligent mobility technologies, including automated vehicle summoning, advanced voice-controlled cabins, hybrid powertrains and autonomous transport solutions, as the brands continue to expand their global operations.

The technologies were demonstrated at the 2026 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit, held in October in Wuhu, China, under the theme, “DRIVE TO THE NEXT VIBE”.

The summit brought together vehicle owners, international media and business partners to explore the brands’ latest developments in intelligent driving, electrification, robotics and future mobility.

One of the major attractions was the Super Intelligent Experience Lab, where the company demonstrated its Super Intelligent Valet Parking system (SIVP).

The technology allows vehicles to respond to pickup requests, navigate designated routes, identify parking spaces and manoeuvre through challenging parking environments.

The demonstration highlighted the possibility of drivers summoning their vehicles from designated locations rather than having to walk through crowded car parks to retrieve them.

Another major innovation presented was the Super Intelligent AI Space (SIAS), an intelligent cabin system designed to make vehicle interaction more natural through voice commands.

During demonstrations, participants activated multiple vehicle functions using a single voice instruction.
The system also recommended music based on a user’s expressed mood and allowed visitors to generate personalised cabin wallpapers through keywords.

The company said the technologies were designed to improve convenience and create a more personalised driving experience.

Hybrid technology also featured prominently through the Super Hybrid Marathon, which took participating vehicles across urban roads, highways and mountain routes.

The exercise evaluated fuel consumption, power delivery, cabin insulation and comfort under different driving conditions, with air conditioning and infotainment systems operating throughout the endurance challenge.

According to the manufacturer’s published results, the OMODA 5 NEXT SHS-H recorded fuel consumption of 4.5 litres per 100 kilometres and a maximum range of 1,015 kilometres under the event’s test conditions.

The summit also witnessed the global debut of OMODA X, a futuristic cross-off-road vehicle designed to combine urban practicality with an adventurous character.

Beyond conventional vehicles, OMODA & JAECOO presented its Level 4 Robotaxi programme, outlining plans for collaboration with UAE-based K2 to develop autonomous mobility services.

The proposed system integrates app-based booking, vehicle dispatch, cabin preparation and driverless journeys within supported operating environments.

Robotics also featured through ecosystem partner AiMOGA, which introduced Mobo, a home companion robot designed to recognise family members, remember preferences and support everyday interactions. Other robots for reception, healthcare guidance and service applications were also displayed.

The summit came against the background of significant international expansion. OMODA & JAECOO reported cumulative global sales exceeding 1.4 million vehicles within three and a half years, with operations spanning 79 markets.

The company also disclosed that research and development expenditure at parent company Chery reached RMB 6.672 billion in the first half of 2026, representing a 28.3 per cent increase year-on-year.
