Kaduna state government has denied that it declared curfew in Jema’a and Kaura local government areas following the outcome of the state election.

A report alleged that the government had declared a curfew in Jema and Kaura council areas of Kaduna State.

But Kaduna State commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan said he never issued a statement or announced curfew in any part of Kaduna.

“I made no statement declaring curfew in Kaura and Jema’a LGAs. It is fake news, please,” Aruwan said.
