Kebbi is most peaceful state in Nigeria, says British High Commissioner
Deputy High Commissioner to the British High Commission, Gill Atkinson who was on an official visit to Kebbi State, has described the state as the most peaceful in the country, commending the State Governor for maintain the status quo by restoring peace and love to the state.
She also applauded the Governor for assisting the women and youths who specialize in a different skills acquisitions adding that the UK is ready to support the state in order for them to achieve more. Urging all stakeholders to fight poverty, which she also described as a major challenge in the country, she commended the governor for reducing it to the barest minimum.
Responding, state governor, Atiku Abubakar Bagudu thanked the UK for visiting, assuring of his commitment towards delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
